Ethnic, Democracy Organizations Vow To Work Together on a Common Program

The Assistance Association for Political Prisoners, All Burma Students' Democratic Front, Canadian Friends of Burma, International Burmese Monks Organization, Ethnic Nationalities Council, Free Burma Federation, Forum for Democracy in Burma, Members of Parliament Union, National League for Democracy - Liberated Area, Students and Youth Congress of Burma,Women's League of Burma, and the National Coalition Government of the Union of Burma (NCGUB) which convened in Malahide at NCGUB's consultations meeting with ethnic and democratic organizations and alliances in Malahide, Ireland, from 24 to 26 January issued a Declaration pledging to work toward a "unified leadership with an integrated action plan to achieve common objectives of establishing democracy and federalism in Burma".
