Daw Aung San Suu Kyi Joins Rank of Prominent Leaders in Club of Madrid

As a reminder to the Burmese generals that the world has not forgotten Daw Aung San Suu Kyi, Club of Madrid has named the Burmese Nobel Peace Laureate as an Honorary Member.  She joins the honorary members -- Kofi Annan, Jimmy Carter, Jacques Delors, and Bill Clinton -- in the Club which is an independent organization dedicated to strengthening democracy around the world by drawing on the unique experience and resources of its Members – 70 democratic former heads of state and government.
